At Home Church, we believe the truth of Jesus is transferred through relationships (1 Cor. 11:1). We want you to find community, grow spiritually, and be encouraged in your faith by other believers. One way we hope to accomplish this is through offering small groups. In a small group, you will find people who will care for you and help you know Jesus better.
A small group consists of 6-12 people that meet regularly with the goal of becoming more like Jesus. In every group you will find a leader you can follow and a few people you can walk with. Small groups meet for a season at a time to study scripture, discuss the latest sermon series, or simply do life together. While there are a variety of structures for our small groups, they all have one mission: to make disciples of Christ.
The best way to join a small group is to attend HomeGrown. Learn more about HomeGrown under our “About Us” tab.
There are three times a year (January, May, and August) when we have church wide sign-ups for small groups. This is when new groups are launched, and anyone can join a group.
Small group leaders are an essential part of the spiritual growth of others. They do not have to have all the answers, but rather be willing to lead others well. Group leaders aim to create an environment for others to grow in their love and commitment for Jesus and connect with others.
