Meet Shelby and Nate Herman. They are currently serving with Youth with a Mission (YWAM) in Tauranga, New Zealand. They help run the Discipleship Training Schools (DTS) while walking closely alongside the students and staff of those schools. When they aren't doing that, they are working on their medical ship, the YWAM Kona. They aim to serve the isolated islands, bringing them hope and healthcare through dentistry. • 3,096 patients seen and treated
• 1,684 eye exams or glasses given

• 1,524 teeth pulled
• 36 teeth cleanings
• 2,311 people received oral health education
• 250+ volunteers
• Over $2,000,000 worth of dental services given in New Zealand and Fiji
• Added 7 new monthly supporters to the team

Whether it's no longer living in pain, being able to see, learning how to take care of their health, or even having an audio Bible in their own language...Each of these stats is a life that is forever changed. Every prayer prayed and every dollar given makes this a reality.
